A sprawling, spreading somewhat tangled shrub that grows 3m wide. Leaves are grey-green. Forms red berries that contain black seeds.; Found on a variety of soils, especially sand rises around salt lakes and saline waterways. A useful understorey shrub for saline waterways. Slightly waterlogging tolerant, very drought and salt tolerant.
