Overview:

Eucalyptus macrocarpa is a very distinctive species having a mallee-type habit of growth and spectacular red flowers.

It also has large silver-grey foliage and the largest of all eucalypt gum nuts (seed pods).

A species native to relatively dry areas.  Requires well drained soil.

Region:
Geralton south to the Jarrah Forrest and across the Avon Wheatbelt to Ravensthorpe
