Small shrubby mallee with a dense crown and smooth bark. Moderately fast growth rate. Frost tolerant, highly salt tolerant, drought hardy, slightly tolerant of waterlogging. Occurs on salt lake dunes and well drained flats. Min rainfall: 350mm
