A perennial, prostrate to erect shrub 0.1 – 1.5(2m) high.
Leaves are greyish green, flowers in May – Nov.
Common throughout the avon region, across most of WA excluding the far south west and top Kimberley.
Found across the landscape in variety of soils.
A useful understorey shrub for fresh to saline waterways.
The fruit is an important source of food for fauna.
Slightly waterlogging tolerant, very drought tolerant and moderately salt tolerant.
