Product Description
A dense, branched shrub or small tree from 1 – 6m tall. Mature leaves are olive to blue green, bright red flowers 35 – 150mm long, flowering from September to January.; Found in the Avon region and from near Shark Bay to the Goldfields and down to Esperance. Uses are ornamental, windbreaks.; Grows in a variety of soil types and can tolerate wind.; Easily grown mid storey shrub, high to moderate tolerance to salt, waterlogging and drought, depending on provenance. The flowers are an important food source for a range of insects, mammals and birds while its dense nature provides ideal nesting sites and shelter.; Min rainfall: 300mm
