Gimlet
Tree to 15m or occasionally to 24m. Creamy coloured flowers. The wood is dense and strong and was widely used in mining areas for poles, posts and firewood. After felling regrows into a multi-trunked tree. Habitat: widespread in the drier areas of the southwest in sandy loam to clay soil.
