Commonly known as coastal moort

Fast growing tree with as short trunk with smooth grey bark, shedding in strips to reveal a fresh, brown-pink bark. Rounded, dense, spreading crown which is retained to near ground level. Leaves are thick, glossy olive green. Drought tolerant and moderately frost tolerant. Tolerates alkaline soils. Semi salt tolerant Min rainfall: 350mm
